  isnt this just pathetic.

  i work for my father (a current jw) and we have some jw customers.

  since my recent fading, one particular customer, an elder, has come into work for business and then carried it further to encouraging me offering a hearing ear etc.

  Your father and any other JW is in cahoots with this elder that's been after you. You'll have to develop your own strategy.

  I feel your pain. As a considered 'spiritual weakling', I have my share of friends and relatives JWs always trying to encourage me to do better spiritually; always asking me to go with them out on service. I always manage to turn them down some way.

  During the most recent incident, a group of them was giving me unsolicited advice on how to increase my service hours. I told them ever so politely, with a mild smile on my face that turning in anymore hours than what I already did wasn't my interest at this time. I said that perhaps when I retire from working I'll try to renew the love I once felt for the religion.

  You all should've seen the faces of them all. It was priceless!!!

  After my un-DF'ing, I have sent a letter to everyone in my hall.

  in the final installment of my story, i am done with my local congregation now.

  in the past month, i have been df'd, un-df'd attended a meeting where i shook everyones hand and smiled ... and now i have sent everyone in the hall this letter, roughly 60 addresses:.

  open letter to the north congregation of jehovahs witnesses.

  This congregation I attend (seldom) has a couple of nurses, a doctor, a couple of CPAs. However, many janitors and CNAs, a couple of car mechanics, painters, and plumbers.

  SHOULD I PIONEER OR COLLEGE?

  do you think the wt has become more lenient or stricter over the year?.

  i am 21 and i remember just 4 years ago going to college was looked at as something negative.

  girls my age, we had plans to be ft pioneers and become secretaries.

  wow,,, finaly a site that can let a disgraesed and disfellowshipped jw finally, have there say, i had the jw's hanging over my head for years and senior members of my family drop in and out of the sect as and when it suits them, dragging any remaiming members with.

  im now free and relived so are you too, .

  and im probably kinder and non racial than those left in, and i dont live under a shadow of fear, or wear a flowery dress, or high neck tops and granny shoes,.

  well my story goes as follows, grew up a dub, in northern england, mum, dad, and the rest of us brood, dad becomes an elder sisters pioneers, and me and me brother were regular "publishers".

  my mother was roman catholic and, it turns out, mentally ill. she was rushed into marriage when my father got her pregnant with me.

  he was also catholic, a sailor, and an alcoholic.. .

  when my father was going to be sent to vietnam, my mother threatened to kill me and herself.
